Saturday
I spent Saturday on setting up my mailing list, which included:
- Finished editing The Beast Time
- Bought the cover
- Compiled the book in Scrivener
- Set subscription form and welcoming email in MailChimp
- Worked on the landing page
Overall, good, productive day.
Sunday
Technically, it should have been a day off, which I should have spent sleeping. At the same time, I am eager to finish editing Unknown and writing Hollow, so that I can publish them together with updated Snake. Also, a more detailed blog post on writing was due on Wednesday, and yet is not finished even now.
Unfortunately, I woke up with a horrible headache and was hardly capable of any creative work. So I went on with the easiest task: the mailing list—you can see subscription offer in the right sidebar.
That’s probably it for today, considering. I hope my head will be better tomorrow: it was probably to the sudden weather change when it came from ‘Why is it so cold for May?’ to ‘Why is it so extremely hot all of a sudden?’ in one day.
Anyway, at least no I can forget about mailing lists for some time, marketing being the most hateful part of writer’s life for me.
